So, as the title suggests, has anyone registered as an app developer with Apple? What does this get you? Are you able to preview the beta iOS releases and offer feedback? Or is it a pure waste of money and time? Thanks for any thoughts.
If you register to become an iOS dev, you get access to the betas of iOS, are able to file bug reports and give feedback, and generally get access to more developer information, help and tools than those who don't register. Also, as you need to register to publish apps on the appstore, unless you want to write code for jailbroken devices, that is how you get in the gate... there are free and payed developer options, though only the payed ones give you access to the betas, and some features and tools.
Same thing goes for the mac developer program.
I am thinking about trying my hand at iOS dev, but haven't yet.

I'd love to develop IOS apps, using VO. Perhaps someone who does this could give us a rundown on what it's like? Is it hard? and where do we learn about it? :)
